Playing a strategic role in contributing to the success of organizing is the Denver Area Labor Federation top priority. DALF's aims to provide support to local unions as they change to organize through training, networking, and campaign assistance. Creating a favorable political environment and building community support for the rights of working people to organize for justice both within their workplaces and in the community is our single mission and focus.

Colorado workers are struggling in an economy that is “dumbing down” the American job – and thereby destroying the quality of life for our families and communities.  Facing increased unemployment and the exportation of our state’s best family-supporting jobs, it is clear that our government’s approach to job creation is failing to meet workers’ needs. 

We are just beginning to elect visionary leadership who believe that worker justice is the key to a more just society.  Stemming a 40 year decline will take time, energy and creativity.  In the course of this struggle we are identifying and building campaigns that give us hope, and create space for a brighter future.  We embrace the challenge.
